The first-round pairings are set for the upcoming York-Adams League Boys' Volleyball Tournament.
The tournament will start on Monday, with fourth-seeded Susquehannock matched up against fifth-seeded York Suburban. The match will take place at Dallastown High School starting at 6 p.m. The night's other match will feature third-seeded Dallastown and sixth-seeded Red Lion, also at the high school, with a scheduled 7:30 p.m. start.
Although Dallastown and Susquehannock finished with identical 7-4 records, the Wildcats earned the higher seed by virtue of their regular-season victory against the Warriors.
Suburban (6-5) earned the fifth seed thanks to a win vs. Red Lion (6-5) earlier this year. The Lions were able to secure the tournament's final spot courtesy of their triumph over Spring Grove (6-5). The Rockets also lost to the Trojans.
Thursday's match up between Central York and Northeastern will determine the league's regular-season champion and tournament's top seed. Thursday's loser will be the second seed.
The top seed will take on the Susquehannock-York Suburban winner on Tuesday at Dallastown High School at 6 p.m. The second seed will face the Dallastown-Red Lion winner on Tuesday at Dallastown Middle School, also at 6 p.m.
The league title match is set for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Dallastown High School.
Doors open Monday at 5:15 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.
