Dallastown High School boys' tennis team suffers first-round loss in PIAA 3-A playoffs

The Dallastown High School boys' team tennis season came to an end on Tuesday with a 3-1 loss to Hollidaysburg in a PIAA Class 3-A first-round contest in Altoona.

The Wildcats' No. 1 singles player, Holden Koons, earned Dallastown's only point with a 6-0, 6-2 victory.

District 3 3-A runner-up Dallastown finished at 14-3. Hollidaysburg is the District 6 3-A champ.

Koons' individual season is still alive. The three-time District 3 3-A boys' singles champion will compete in the PIAA 3-A singles tournament this weekend at the Hershey Racquet Club.
