The Dallastown High School boys' tennis team has earned the No. 2 seed in the upcoming District 3 Class 3-A Tournament.
Hershey garnered the No. 1 seed.
Dallastown, the York-Adams League Division I champion, finished the regular season at 12-1, with the only loss coming to Hershey, 4-1.
On Monday, May 7, in the quarterfinals, Dallastown will face the winner of the match between No. 7 seed Central Dauphin and No. 10 seed Muhlenberg, which will be played on Thursday, May 3.
Red Lion (13-2) is the No. 5 seed in 3-A and Northeastern (9-3) is the No. 12 seed. Those two teams will meet in a first-round match at Racquet Club West in Lancaster at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 3.
During the regular season on Monday, March 19, Red Lion beat Northeastern, 3-2.
In 2-A, York Suburban (11-1) is the No. 5 seed, while Littlestown (12-1) is the No. 6 seed. Suburban won the York-Adams Division II title. In the quarterfinals on Monday, May 7, Suburban will face No. 4 Pequea Valley at 5 p.m. at Racquet Club West. That same day at 2 p.m. at Hershey Racquet Club, Littlestown takes on No. 3 Lancaster Country Day.
In Saturday's York-Adams singles finals, the top seeds rolled.
Dallastown's Holden Koons took his third straight 3-A title, beating No. 2 seed Alec Shue of Red Lion, 6-0, 6-0. Koons did not lose a game in the tournament.
In the 2-A final, Suburban freshman Parker Lando lived up to his No. 1 seed, beating Littlestown's Noah DeCampo, the No. 2 seed, in the final, 6-0, 6-1. Lando lost just three games over four matches.
