Red Lion opened its York-Adams Division I boys' tennis season with a 3-2 triumph over visiting Northeastern on Monday.
The Lions received singles victories from Alec Shue and Cameron Wheeler. Phil Zeidman and Luke Zeidman combined to win the No. 1 doubles match for the Lions.
For the Bobcats, Josh Sanderson won a singles match, while Sam Sidle and Erick Sowers won the No. 2 doubles match.
Central York 4, Spring Grove 1: At Central York, the Panthers captured both doubles matches to secure the Y-A D-I victory. Alex Arrow and Rolen McPaul won the No. 1 match, while Ian Jones and Ethan Olney won the No. 2 match. In singles, Kameron Stoll and Jacob Stewart each won a singles match. For the Rockets, Graham Harlacher won a singles match.
Dallastown 5, Dover 0: At Dallastown, the Wildcats, received singles victories from Jonathan Burns, Sebastian May and Noah May. In doubles, Vincent Villani and Cameron Koons combined to win the No. 1 match, while Bob Shue and Aryan Saharan combined to win the No. 2 match. It was the Division I opener for both teams.
York Suburban 4, Bermudian Springs 1: At Suburban, the Trojans captured the Y-A D-II opener by picking up victories in all three singles matches. Parker Lando, Liam Waterbury and Drew Thomson each won a singles match. In doubles, Augustine Huh and Robbie Bell won the No. 2 match.
Susquehannock 4, Biglerville 1: At Glen Rock, the Warriors captured all three singles matches to secure the Y-A D-II opening victory. Dominic Snyder, Brendan Paules and Justin Feild each won a singles match. In doubles, Ian McDonald and Billy Lochte won the No. 1 doubles match.
Hanover 3, York Catholic 2: At Springettsbury Park, the Nighthawks captured the Y-A D-II opener by winning both doubles matches. Josh Lynn and Brooks Keeney won the No. 1 match, while Evan Garman and Owen Smith won the No. 2 match. Ben Shaw also won a singles match for the visitors. For the Irish, Nicholas Gingerich and Seung Ho Jung each won a singles match.
