BOYS' TENNIS: Dallastown wins berth in state tournament

The Dallastown boys' tennis team is headed to the state tournament.
The Wildcats earned a PIAA Class AAA team berth on Thursday with a 3-2 victory over Lower Dauphin at the Hershey Racquet Club in the District 3-AAA third-place match.
Holden Koons (No. 1) and David Trimmer (No. 3) earned singles victories for the Wildcats, while Sachon Venkatesh and Jonathon Burns rallied to win the No. 2 doubles match in three sets, 6-7 (5), 7-5, 6-1.
Dallastown will now face the District 1-AAA champion on Tuesday in a first-round state contest at a site and time to be determined.
