The Susquehannock boys' soccer team will have to hit the road on Tuesday for its PIAA Class AA state semifinal.

The Warriors, the only York-Adams soccer team that is still alive, will make a 150-mile journey to Altoona's Mansion Park for a 6 p.m. battle vs. South Park.

Susquehannock is the third-place team from District 3, while South Park is the third-place team from District 7. South Park will have a trip of about 110 miles.

The Warriors are fresh off 1-0 triumph over District 7 champion South Fayette on Saturday. South Park, meanwhile, punched its semifinal ticket with a 2-0 victory over District 7 runner-up Mars, also on Saturday.

Susquehannock knocked off District 5 champion Somerset 3-0 in the first round. South Park rolled past District 10 champ Harbor Creek in the first round, 4-1.

The winner of Tuesday's semifinal will advance to the PIAA Class AA championship match, slated for 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hersheypark Stadium.

Tuesday's other semifinal matches District 11 champion Northwestern Lehigh vs. District 4 champion Lewisburg. Northwestern Lehigh downed York-Adams champion Gettysburg on Saturday, 2-0.

Susquehannock won the PIAA Class AA boys' soccer title in 2008.
