  • CSY's Sean Graybill made the CCAC boys' team.

Four Christian School of York basketball players were recently named Commonwealth Christian Athletic Conference All-Stars for this season.

Christian School of York junior Kendis Butler (11) was one of girls' basketball players from the Crusaders to earn CCAC all-star recognition.

Three of the all-stars were from the girls' team, while one boy made the team.

From the girls' team, Kendis Butler made the first team for the CCAC West, while teammates Kathryn Landis and Bailey Stauffer were part of the CCAC West second team.

Butler, who's only a junior, was a team captain for the Crusaders and led the team with 13.8 points per game and 2.4 assists. She knocked down a team-high 57 3-pointers on the season. Landis, who's a senior, averaged 8.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. Senior captain Stauffer averaged 8.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.

The three were major reasons for CSY finishing second in the CCAC and qualifying for the District 3 Class 1-A tournament for a fourth consecutive season. The Crusaders finished 19-6.

Sean Graybill was the only member of the boys' team to make the all-star team, earning CCAC West second-team recognition. The senior reached the 1,000-point mark this season and finished his career with 1,153 points.
