The tradionally strong Delone Catholic girls' basketball team snapped a rare three-game losing streak on Thursday night with a 37-31 non-league road triumph over Eastern York.

Bradi Zumbrum was the only Delone player to reach double figures, posting 11 points. Cass Arnold scored 12 points to lead Eastern York.

Delone improved to 7-3. Eastern fell to 8-2.

GIRLS' HOOPS

Kennard-Dale 48, Pequea Valley 36: At Pequea Valley, Megan Halczuk led the Rams with 14 points. Teammate Chandler Swanson knocked in 10 points.

Red Lion Christian 60, Blue Mountain Christian 29: At Red Lion, Destiny Hollingshead had a team-high 20 and 14 rebounds for RLC, while Allie Damiano added 16 points. Hailee Thompson had eight points and 13 rebounds for the Swordsmen.

BOYS' HOOPS

New Oxford 76, Dover 48: At New Oxford, John Wessel had a game-high 26 points for New Oxford, while teammates Jordan Brown (15) and Ben Lehman (11) also got into double figures. Dover was led by Brady Bowman’s 12 points, followed by Keith Davis and Elijah Sutton with 10 each.
