HOOPS: YCD boys improve to 20-0



York Country Day coach Corey Stiles has led the Greyhounds to a 20-0 start this season.

York Country Day 63, Dayspring Christian 30: At York, the Greyhounds continued their unbeaten season, easily dispatching Dayspring Christian. Eight different YCD players scored in the game, led by DeAireus Brown and Jordan Ray’s team-high 12 points. DJ Hamilton added 11 and Cameron Sanders chipped in 10. The Greyhounds are now 20-0.

Dallastown 62, Red Land 46: At Red Land, the Wildcats picked up the non-league victory behind 17 points from Mike Diaz. Aaron Ward added 12 points for the winners, while Brandon McGlynn chipped in 10.

Red Lion 56, Wyomissing 49: At Red Lion, Jamel Foster scored a team-high 16 points, including five 3-pointers. Teammate Wyatt Tyson also scored 13 points. Red Lion also got a 12-point performance from Gary Hunt. Wyomissing was led by a game-high 25 points from Jarvay Bolton.

Rosedale Baptist 52, Red Lion Christian 44: At Rosedale, Tate Pendell scored 15 points and John Keenan added 11 points and 11 rebounds in a losing cause for RLC, which fell to 11-4. Cody Stoots poured in 31 points for Rosedale.


Kennard-Dale 53, Biglerville 31: At Fawn Grove, the Rams led by just four at the half (17-13), but outscored the Canners 20-4 in the third quarter to take command. Emily Freese led the Rams with 15 points, including three 3-pointers. Teammate Morgan Anderson knocked in 11 points.

Red Lion Christian 48, Rosedale Baptist 13: At Rosedale, Destiny Hollingshead (16 points, 13 rebounds), Liz Baker (11 points, 11 rebounds) and Tabitha Garner (10 points) powered RLC, which improved to 13-2.
