York Suburban outlasted Susquehannock 32-30 in a pivotal York-Adams Division II girls' basketball game on Thursday night in Glen Rock.

The victory in the defensive struggled allowed the Trojans to move within a half game of first-place Warriors in the division. Suburban improved to 10-4 overall and 5-2 in the division. Susquehannock fell to 11-2 and 6-2.

Ali Reinecker paced the winners with 10 points. Jayla Galbreath led Susquehannock with 11 points.

Suburban jumped out to a 13-5 first-quarter lead and then was able to hold off Susquehannock.

BASKETBALL

Eastern York 72, Northeastern 50: At Manchester, Hannah Myers (17 points), Cass Arnold (15), Addy Malone (14) and Mara Weaver (11) each hit double digits for the winners. 

Christian School of York 64, Lancaster Mennonite-Hershey 18: At CSY, the Crusaders' Kendis Butler outscored Lancaster Mennonite-Hershey by herself, finishing with 22 points, while also grabbing 10 rebounds. CSY's Mekenzie Smith knocked in 18 points, while Claire Harbaugh had 14 points. CSY improved to 11-2.

Red Lion Christian 33, Lebanon Christian Academy 24: Trailing 22-16 entering the fourth quarter, Red Lion Christian closed with a flurry, outscoring the opposition 17-2 to collect the victory. Leading the way for RLC were Destiny Hollingshead and Allie Damiano, who each scored nine points.

BOYS' BASKETBALL

Manheim Central 42, York Suburban 39: At Suburban, the Trojans led 30-29 at the end of the third quarter but were unable to hold the lead and dropped the non-league contest. Aidan Hughley led the Trojans with 12 points. Teammate Luke Babinchak knocked in 11 points.

Christian School of York 76, Lancaster Mennonite-Hershey 45: The Crusaders were led by Alex Pantelic, who poured in a game-high 25 points. Also reaching double digits for the Crusaders was Tate Pendell with 11 points.
