BASEBALL: Delone's Hartlaub throws no-hitter vs. Tech

Delone Catholic's Dylan Hartlaub threw a no-hitter on Wednesday in the Squires' 3-0 win over York Tech in McSherrystown.

Hartlaub struck out 10 and walked four.

Austin Kuntz doubled twice for Delone, while also scoring a run and driving in a run.

Luke Greisler pitched a complete-game seven-hitter for Tech.


South Western 7, Spring Grove 6: At Spring Grove, the visitors built a 7-2 lead and then held off a furious seventh-inning rally by the Rockets. Spring Grove scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh, but couldn't plate the tying run. Jay Yeater got the win for South Western, with relief help from Austin Reusing. Cameron Sterner went the distance for second-place Spring Grove, which dropped to 7-4 in York-Adams Division I, three games behind first-place Dallastown (10-1). Sterner struck out seven and walked three while allowing only five hits, but his defense committed five errors behind him.

York Catholic 8, Hanover 0: At Hanover, the Irish outhit Hanover 13-4 en route to the win. The Nighthawks committed four errors. The Fighting Irish improved to 9-6 overall and 9-3 in York-Adams Division IV. The Irish lead the division.
