There is now just one York-Adams baseball team with a perfect league record.
West York remained unbeaten, both overall and in the league, with Monday's 6-1 triumph over visiting Red Lion.
Eastern York, meanwhile, suffered its first league setback with a 3-1 loss to visiting Biglerville.
At West York, Brett Kinneman and Cash Gladfelter combined on a four-hitter for the Bulldogs. Kinneman struck out 10 and walked five before Gladfelter came on in the sixth. Gladfelter struck out two and walked one. Gladfelter was also 2-for-4 at the plate, including a double. Colton Kubicki and Logan Stover each added two RBIs for West York.
The Bulldogs now stand at 10-0 overall and 9-0 in Division II. Red Lion fell to 5-6 overall and 4-5 in Division I.
At Wrightsville, the Golden Knights managed just five hits in the loss to the Canners to fall to 7-4 overall land 7-1 in Division III. Biglerville improved to 5-8 overall and 5-5 in Division IV. Jon Borth got the win, allowing five hits and one run in six innings. Noah Ayers got the save with a scoreless seventh. Eastern was hurt by four errors. All three Biglerville runs were unearned. Brandyn Fry pitched for five innings for the Golden Knights, while Brandon Knarr pitched the final two innings. Colby Shimmel had two hits and a run scored for Eastern.
