The sixth-seeded team of Jordan Ohl and Tomasz Ziminski is the only surprise among the eight teams still alive in the York-Adams League boys' doubles tennis tournaments.

Ohl and Ziminski, from York Suburban, beat the third-seeded team of Noah Sanderson and Jack Citrone of West York in the Class 2-A quarterfinals on Monday, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.

In Tuesday's 2-A semifinals, Ohl and Ziminski will face the top-seeded team of Parker Lando and Liam Waterbury, also from Suburban. Lando and Waterbury lost just three games over two matches on Monday. 

The other 2-A semifinal teams are Nick Wool and Brandt Yurick of Bermudian Springs and Noah DeCampo and Ryan Appleton of Littlestown. Those two teams will square off in Tuesday's other 2-A semifinal. The Littlestown duo is seeded No. 2 and the Bermudian team is seeded No. 4.

In 3-A action, the top four seeds moved to the semifinals. In Tuesday's semifinals, the No. 1 seeded team of Jonathan Burns and Sebastian May of Dallastown faces the fourth-seeded team of Justin Gruver and Michael Paganelli of New Oxford. The other semi pits the No. 2 seeded team of Alec Shue and Cameron Wheeler of Red Lion against the No. 3 seeded team of Josh Sanderson and Lance Fries of Northeastern. May and Burns lost just two game in their two matches on Monday.

The semifinals in both classes start at 3 p.m. Tuesday at South Western, followed by the finals and consolations.

BOYS' LACROSSE

Susquehannock 15, Mechanicsburg 1: At Glen Rock, Colin Kernan led the Warriors to the nonleague win by scoring four goals. Also for the Warriors (11-3 overall), Allen Clapp had one goal and three assists, Jacob Bedgar scored three goals, Levi Hall had two goals and one assist, Ian LeBlanc had one goal and two assists and Logan Wojcik had one goal and one assist.

York Suburban 18, Garden Spot 7: At Suburban, Dominic Corto (three goals, three assists), Austin Sipes (goal, four assists), Riley Purcell (three goals, assist), Bryce Gavin (two goals, assist), Ben Salazar (three goals), Evan LeCates (two goals), Lucien St. Onge (two goals) and Tyler Conway (two goals) led Suburban to the nonleague win.

Chambersburg 20, Dover 4: At Dover, Eamonn Mailey scored two goals to lead the Eagles. Also for Dover, Sean MacDonald and Cam Fetrow each scored one goal and added one assist. 

GIRLS' LACROSSE

Central York 15, Trinity 11: At Trinity, Maddy Kurland (four goals, assist), Liz Rader (four goals), Hannah Cunningham (three goals, assist), Emily Kurland (goal, three assists) and Abby McFerren (two goals, assist) powered Central (11-4 overall) to the nonleague win.

Red Lion 18, Garden Spot 3: Peyton Shima (six goals, two assists), Sara Simms (four goals, four assists), Kaiya Edwards (five goals) and Samantha Collis (two goals) powered Red Lion to the nonleague win. Zoe Watson made 11 saves to get the win in goal.

South Western 19, Spring Grove 5: At Spring Grove, Elizabeth Antoshak (five goals), Hannah Huff (four goals, assist), Aunnie Hacker (two goals, two asissts) and Sophie Mare (two goals, assist) led the Mustangs. Emma Randisi had four of Spring Grove's five goals.

New Oxford 17, Dover 8: At New Oxford, Bri Smith led the Colonials to the victory by scoring four goals. For the Eagles, Paige Lantz scored four goals.
