The Red Lion Christian basketball teams rolled to a pair of home victories on Monday night.

The RLC boys downed Carlisle Christian, 74-54, while the RLC girls defeated CHASE, 44-17.

In the boys' game, Zach Fahs led the Swordsmen with 18 points. Also for RLC, Tate Pendell knocked in 16 points, Robert Englestad scored 14 points and John Keenan knocked in 11 points.The RLC boys improved to 4-2.

In the girls' game, Destiny Hollingshead and Tabitha Garner led the Swordsmen with 18 points apiece. Teammate Liz Baker grabbed 12 rebounds. The RLC girls are a perfect 5-0.

York Catholic girls roll: The York Catholic girls' basketball team rolled to a 48-34 victory at Littlestown on Monday evening.

Kate Bauhof led the Irish by scoring a game-high 22 points, including four from 3-point range. For the Thunderbolts, Aley Abate knocked in 14 points.

York High girls triumph: The York High girls' basketball team earned a 60-56 victory over visiting East Pennsboro on Monday night.

Chyna Steele led the Bearcats to the non-league victory by scoring 17 points. Teammates Madey-Zania Redman and Jasmine Beistline each scored 15 points.

Dallastown/Central York falls in ice hockey: Dallastown/Central York saw its ice hockey losing streak extended to three games with an 8-2 loss to Penn Manor at York City Ice Arena.

The York County team tied the game at 2-2 early in the second period, but gave up six unanswered goals to close out the contest. Harrison Batt and Colin Young scored the only goals for Dallastown/Central York, which fell to 5-3 in Central Penn Interscholastic Hockey League Tier 3 action.

Susquehannock eases past Lampeter-Strasburg in ice hockey: Susqueahannock had little trouble downing winless Lampeter-Strasburg on Monday night, winning 7-1 in CPIHL Tier 3 action at Lancaster Ice Rink.

Nicolas Prego had three goals and an assist to lead the Warriors, while Elijah Emenheiser and Kaden Glatfelter each had three-point nights. The victory for Susquehannock helped it leap-frog Dallastown for third place in the Tier 3 standings with 11 points (5-3-1).

Eastern York downs York Tech in wrestling: The Eastern York wrestling team downed visiting York Tech on Monday night, 60-21.

Nathan Robbins (126), Dakota Meckley (160), Conner Barshinger (171), Jahshim Snyder (182), Jared Korb (220) and Wyatt Smith (285) had pins for Eastern. Snyder needed just 22 seconds for his fall. Sam Hoover (113) and Kyle Ilgenfritz (195) had Tech's pins.

Central York athletes make choices: Three Central York athletes recently made their college choices official by signing National Letters of Intent.

Golfer Gus Minkin is headed to the University of Minnesota, wrestler Dylan Chatterton is committed to Shorter University in Georgia and tennis player Yvonne Peters-Washington is going to Morgan State University. in Maryland.
