GIRLS' SOCCER: Spring Grove earns one-goal victory over Waynesboro

Lucy Wierman and Maddyson Miller scored goals to lift Spring Grove to a 2-1 non-league girls' soccer victory over a strong Waynesboro outfit on Monday night.

Moriah Morton added an assist.

Spring Grove improved to 7-8-1, while Waynesboro fell to 12-4-2.

OTHER GIRLS' SOCCER

Susquehannock 4, Kennard-Dale 1: At Fawn Grove, Maddy Mummert scored two goals and added one assist to lead the Warriors. Ashley Stone added two assists, while Kelsey McCullough and Carly Attig each scored one goal. Susquehannock improved to 10-0-1 in York-Adams Division II.

Dallastown 3, New Oxford 0: At New Oxford, the Wildcats received one goal apiece from Mason Pinkerton, Natalie Gettle and Ali Shick. Dallastown improved to 8-0-2 in York-Adams Division I.

Northeastern 7, West York 2: At West York, Amanda Bentz led the Bobcats by scoring two goals and adding four assists. Also for Northeastern, Brittney Arentz scored four goals and added one assist, while Sawyer Patrick scored one goal. For the Bulldogs, Elle Stine and McKenzie Gerrick each scored one goal, while Emma Tyndall picked up one assist.

Cedar Cliff 5, Red Lion 1: At Red Lion, Lexis Kline scored the lone goal for the Lions. Teammate Madison Kling made 10 stops in goal.
