GIRLS' SOCCER: First-place Dallastown has to settle for York-Adams D-I tie vs. Northeastern
For the first time this season, Dallastown did not emerge victorious in a York-Adams Division I girls' soccer match.
The Wildcats had to settle for a 0-0 overtime tie on Tuesday against visiting Northeastern.
Division-leading Dallastown is now 7-0-1 in league play, while Northeastern is 4-2-1.
The Wildcats dominated statistically, with a 20-6 edge in shots and a 6-0 advantage in corners.
Northeastern goalie Brenna Schroter came up big, however, making nine saves. Dallastown's Allison Hameier had five saves.

York Catholic 6, Bermudian Springs 0: At York Springs, a night after notching career goal No. 100, Liz Johnson added three more to her total against the Eagles. Melanie Mathews, Paige Phillips and Alexa Citrone also found the back of the net for the Irish. York Catholic improved to 8-0-0 in York-Adams Division III.
Spring Grove 3, New Oxford 0: At Spring Grove, the hosts got a pair of goals from Abby Erlemeier and another score from Leanna Miller to claim victory.
Susquehannock 2, West York 0: At Susquehannock, a pair of Maddy Mummert goals pushed the Warriors to the home win. Ashley Stone made three saves in goal in recording the shutout.
Central York 2, Red Lion 0: At Central, goals from Lynsey Nicholas and Lynnae Swanson helped the Panthers defend their home turf. Olivia Johnson recorded three saves in net to earn the shutout.
Dover 5, Eastern York 0: At Dover, Brooke Firestone, who recently reached 100 goals for her career, added four more goals and Payton Miller had the other as the home team cruised. Tori Wantz made three saves in net for the Eagles.
Gettysburg 2, York Suburban 1 (OT): At Suburban, Alaina Bortner's overtime goal was the difference. After playing a scoreless first half, Nicole Intile-Suggs scored for Gettysburg and Abby Eisenhart for Suburban to push the game to OT.
