GIRLS' TENNIS: Central York blanks New Oxford in battle of strong York-Adams Division I teams

Central York 7, New Oxford 0: At New Oxford, the Panthers cruised behind singles wins from Yvonne Peters-Washington, Madison Mummert, Jenn Elder, Sophie Brink and Sara Donner. Brink and Donner also combined to win at No. 1 doubles. Both teams entered at 3-1 in York-Adams Division I action.

York Catholic 6, Bermudian Springs 1: At York Springs, Samantha Schwamb, Annie Javitt and Erin McBrairty won in singles and doubles to spark the Irish. Mayra Hernandez also took a singles point for York Catholic.

Kennard-Dale 6, Littlestown 1: At Littlestown, Alyssa Miller, Clare Boone, Brooke Siebert and Kellie Dandy each won in singles and doubles to power K-D.

West York 5, Dover 2: At Dover, Lydia Fairlamb and Montana Stump won in singles and doubles to lead West York. Kiersten Shelton and Bri McCafferty also won in singles for the Bulldogs. Joanne Ezibe won at No. 3 singles for Dover.

Susquehannock 3, Northeastern 2 (suspended): At Manchester, the match was suspended during doubles and will be completed at a later date. Jessica McDonald, Julianne Cassady and Molly Hogan won in singles for the Warriors, while Laura Zielinski and Katherine McGonigal took singles wins for Northeastern.
