Three members of the York College softball team earned All-Capital Athletic Conference honors on Tuesday.
Sophomore Ginger Lewis was one of three pitchers named to the first team, while junior Joanna Marmo and freshman Ashley Meekins earned second-team honors.
Lewis was an All-CAC second-team pick as a freshman. In 157 1/3 innings this season, she finished with a 2.49 ERA, allowing 125 hits and 45 walks, while striking out 178, the most in the conference and 50 more than the second most. Her 178 strikeouts also were tied for the 11th-most in all of NCAA Division III. She had two no-hitters this season. She finished 14-7 with four saves.
Marmo led York in hits and batting average. She hit .336 with 24 RBIs, 18 runs scored, five doubles and four homers.
Meekins hit .331 with 37 runs scored and 33 RBIs, with seven doubles, seven triples and eight homers, tied for the most in the conference.
York went 27-16-1.
