York College men's lacrosse team rolls in battle of Capital Athletic Conference unbeatens

In a meeting of Capital Athletic Conference unbeatens, the York College men's lacrosse team sent a loud message to the rest of the conference on Saturday night.
The Spartans scored six goals in less than five minutes in the third quarter to explode away from the University of Mary Washington en route to a 16-4 win at Kinsley Field.
Both teams entered the match a 3-0 in CAC action. York is now the only unbeaten team in CAC play. The Spartans have won seven straight games.
York, ranked No. 2 nationally in NCAA Division III by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association, improved to 11-1 overall. Mary Washington dropped to 7-5.
Dillon Hannah finished with a career-high seven points on five goals and a pair of assists.
York enjoyed a 31-14 edge in shots on goal.
Jake Hvazda (career-high three goals, one assist, four ground balls), Hunter Davis (one goal, two assists, four ground balls), Brad Casale (career-high three goals) and Landry Marshall (10 saves) also excelled for the Spartans.
