The Spartans' women's team routed Wesley in York, 20-1, while the York men visited Dover, Delaware, and pounded the Wolverines, 24-3.
The York women improved to 6-3 overall and 1-1 in the Capital Athletic Conference. Wesley fell to 5-4 and 0-3. The Spartans are ranked No. 9 nationally in NCAA Division III in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association poll.
Caitlin Rankin (four goals), Skye Slater (three goals, assist), Madison Marciniak (three goals), Baleigh Bradley (goal, two assists), Hayley McCormick (goal, two assists), Devin Hursey (goal, assist), Melissa Meehling (goal, assist) and Meghan Fox (goal, assist) paced York.
The York men, meanwhile, improved to 10-1 overall and 2-0 in the CAC. Wesley fell to 2-8 and 0-3. The Spartan men are ranked No. 2 nationally in D-III by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.
Tanner Yanick (two goals, two assists), Jake Hvazda (two goals, two assists), Shane Brookhart (three goals), Thomas Pfeiffer (three goals), Gunnar Reynolds (two goals, assist), Ryan Cook (three assists), Liam Rattigan (two goals), Ethan Locker (goal, assist), Matt Whitcher (goal, assist) and Ryan Powers (two assists) paced York.
