York College junior forward Caitlin Rankin earned her first collegiate all-star award when she was named to the All-Capital Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Second Team.

Rankin started all 16 matches for York, one of just four Spartans to do so this season, and led the team with 14 points on six goals and two assists.

For her York College career, Rankin has played in 54 matches, starting in 48. She’s recorded 34 points on 14 goals and six assists. Rankin also has four game-winning goals during her time in York.

CAC champion Christopher Newport swept the major awards and had a conference-best seven players earn all-star recognition. CNU junior Gabby Gillis was named Player of the Year, freshman Riley Cook earned Rookie of the Year and head coach Dan Weiler was selected as Coach of the Year for the second-straight season.
