York College softball coach Jen Petteys picked up her 100th victory on Monday when her Spartans earned a home split in doubleheader against Albright.

After dropping the first game, 3-1, the Spartans rebounded for a 10-2 win in six innings.

Petteys is in her fifth season at York.

In York's win, Carleigh Ruleman was the only player in the game to record and extra-base hit, roping a double. She was one of three York players to have a multi-RBI game. Along with Ruleman, Haley Hirn and Ashley Werner each drove in two runs. In the circle, Melissa Jurkiewicz scattered seven hits over her complete game to hold the Lions (11-13) to just two runs, while striking out a pair.

In the first game, York's only offense came courtesy of a Ruleman homer in the third, her 14th of the season.

The Spartans are now 27-13 and will face Mary Washington at 10 a.m. Thursday in the opening round of the Capital Athletic Conference Tournament.
