Grant Oberholtzer played hero for the Spartans (10-5, 5-1 CAC), collecting the game-winning single in the bottom of the 10th, scoring Michael Moore from third to help York bounce back from its loss on Sunday.

The extra-inning heroics of Oberholtzer capped a come-from-behind win for the Spartans. After both teams plated a pair of runs in the first, the Seahawks (6-13, 0-8 CAC) took a 4-2 lead in the top of the fifth. York rallied though, forcing extra innings with a couple of runs in the bottom of the ninth, with Kennard-Dale graduate Collin Crowell pulling the Spartans to within one with an RBI single. The tying run scored on a sacrifice fly.

Oberholtzer's winning single was the third of his three-hit day, a team high. Will Grega collected the win, pitching four scoreless innings in relief, allowing two hits and four walks, while striking out four.

Men's golf takes second in Lynchburg Invite: The York College men's golf team finished second at this week's Lynchburg College Invitational at Poplar Grove Golf Club in Amherst, Virginia.
