YORK COLLEGE HOOPS: Spartans sweep St. Mary's

The York College women's basketball team cruised to their fourth straight triumph on Wednesday with a 77-50 victory at St. Mary's College in St. Mary's City, Maryland.
The Spartan men also beat St. Mary's, 88-84. It was also their fourth straight triumph.
In the women's game, Susquehannock High School graduate Katie Wagner paced the Warriors with 18 points, six rebounds, three steals and two assists.
Red Lion grad Morgan Kuehne added 10 points and five rebounds, while Morgan Golec collected 10 points and nine rebounds.
York improved to 12-4 overall and 6-3 in the Capital Athletic Conference. St. Mary's fell to 5-11 and 3-6.
In the men's game, Matt Scamuffo poured in 32 points for York. Blayde Reich added 17 points, six rebounds and four blocks, while Jason Bady chipped in 10 points and seven boards. Central York grad Jared Wagner had 11 points, four rebounds, four assists and four steals off the bench.
York improved to 11-5 overall and 6-3 in the CAC. St. Mary's fell to 8-8 and 3-6.
