It wasn't pretty, but the York College men's basketball team rallied to earn a 77-72 win at home over Stevenson University on Tuesday night.

The Spartans (6-3) trailed by three at halftime to the 1-9 Mustangs, but responded with a strong second half to earn the win. York outscored Stevenson 46-38 in the final 20 minutes after being held to 31 points in the first half.

The Spartans had four of five starters reach double figures in scoring, led by Matt Scamuffo's 16 points. Jason Brady, Blayde Reich and Mike Frauenheim each tallied 11 points. Central York grad Jared Wagner and Spring Grove grad Darin Gordon each had three points off the bench in a combined 30 minutes of play.
