Three days after finishing 12th in a tournament at the East Course of Hershey Country Club, the York College men's golf team was back there on Thursday.
Taking part in the Elizabethtown Blue Jay Classic, the Spartans finished fourth out of 21 teams, a dramatic improvement from earlier in the week.
York shot a team score of 319, good for 35-over par, finishing 11 strokes behind event-champion, Eastern. Stevenson (313) finished second and Muhlenberg (316) took third.
Individually, the Spartans had two players finish in the top-10, with Ryan Wolbach shooting a 4-over 75, good for a tie for fourth. Tyler Newton, who was the the team's best individual golfer earlier in the week, finished tied for seventh, shooting a 5-over 76.
