York College baseball team loses to Johns Hopkins
- Susquehannock grad Luke Knott hit a solo home run for York College in the third inning.
- Raul Shah powered Johns Hopkins with a grand slam.
- The Spartans take on Frostburg St. on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
Susquehannock High School graduate Luke Knott was able to strike first for the York College baseball team on Tuesday with his third-inning solo home run. However, the Spartans immediately gave up six runs in the bottom of inning before falling, 9-4, on the road to Johns Hopkins.
The highlight of the third for the Blue Jays was Raul Shah’s grand slam.
Logan Countryman also homered for York and finished with two RBIs.
York (6-13 overall, 4-2 in Capital Athletic Conference) next travels to Frostburg State on Wednesday. Hopkins is now 9-6-1.
