York College senior goalie Caleb Abney has earned the Capital Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week Award.

It is the second consecutive week that Abney has earned the conference honor.

Abney led the No. 6-ranked Spartans to a 9-7 win over previous No. 5 Gettysburg College in York's lone game for the week. Abney recorded a season-high 15 saves, including four stops in the opening 15 minutes.

The win for Abney was his 41st career win, tops on the York College career list.

For the year, Abney owns a 4.49 goals-against average and a .700 save percentage in more than 240 minutes of work. Abney has made 42 saves on 96 shots faced.
