UNIVERSITY PARK — The Penn State Nittany Lions’ hottest home game of the year just got a little hotter.

Penn State announced Monday morning that the Michigan contest on Saturday, Oct. 21 — the “White-Out” game — will kick off at 7:30 p.m. and will be televised on ABC. It will be the Nittany Lions’ third night game so far this season.

The cheapest ticket on StubHub right now, in the nosebleeds, is currently going for more than $197. The “best value” tickets are $275.

It’s not hard to see why this is a must-watch game. Penn State is currently ranked No. 3 in the country, while Michigan is No. 17 after its upset loss to Michigan State over the weekend. The Wolverines boast the top-ranked defense in the nation when it comes to yards allowed per game, while Penn State has the country’s best defense when it comes to points allowed per game.

The Michigan-Penn State game is currently the only matchup at Beaver Stadium this season that involves a ranked team.

The Nittany Lions are on bye this week before taking on the Wolverines the week after.
