The Penn State York men's basketball team cruised to an 86-68 victory over Penn State Worthington-Scranton in a first-round Penn State University Athletic Conference men's basketball playoff game on Wednesday night.

Northeastern High School graduate Mike Coleman poured in 28 points for the winners on 10 for 12 shooting from the field, including an 8-for-9 effort from 3-point range. Red Lion grad Trent Thomas added 17 points to the PSY cause, while Dallastown grad Judd Gemmill chipped in 10 points and 10 assists.

The Yorkers shot 51 percent from the field, including 48 percent from 3-point range.

No. 3 seed PSY will now face No. 2 seed Penn State Fayette on Saturday.
