Central York grad Paige Harrold off to stellar start in senior season at East Stroudsburg

Paige Harrold's senior season is off to a stellar start.
The Central York High School graduate has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Field Hockey Athlete of the Week.
Harrold is a midfielder at East Stroudsburg University.
Harrold totaled a team-high seven points (three goals, one assist) during a pair of shutout victories for the Warriors last week.
She had a pair of goals in ESU's 4-0 win at No. 1 Shippensburg last Wednesday. The Warriors handed the two-time defending NCAA Division II national champions their first loss of the season.
Harrold added a goal and an assist in a 6-0 home victory over Mercyhurst on Saturday, with ESU outshooting the Lakers, 24-2.
For the season, Harrold has a team-high nine points (four goals, one assist), with her other goal coming in a 4-0 win over 2017 national runner-up Long Island University Post on Sept. 12.
The Warriors (4-1 overall), ranked No. 3 in Division II last week, are 3-1 against nationally-ranked opponents this fall, and they have outscored teams 15-0 during their current three-game winning streak.
Last season as a junior, Harrold started all 22 games in the midfield on ESU's PSAC runner-up and NCAA D-II semifinal team that finished 17-5. She had three goals and eight assists in 2017.
