West York High School graduate Brett Kinneman has earned First Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors in baseball.
Kinneman is a junior outfielder at North Carolina State University.
The 6-foot, 197-pounder has hit 17 home runs to rank second in the conference and among the top 20 nationally. He has tallied 60 runs batted in to lead the ACC and rank among the nation's best. His 60 RBIs are the most for an N.C. State player since 2012, when Ryan Matthews had 62. Kinneman has compiled a .289 batting average and leads the Pack in runs scored with 48.
Kinneman has helped the Wolfpack compile a 40-14 overall record, including a 19-11 mark in ACC play. N.C. State is ranked No. 10 nationally in NCAA Division I in the latest D1Baseball.com poll. The Wolfpack starts ACC Tournament play on Thursday.
He was previously named to the Golden Spikes Award Midseason Watch List and D1 Baseball and Perfect Game Midseason All-America teams. He was also named the National and ACC Player of the Week twice and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association National Player of the Month for February.
In 2016, Kinneman was named a Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball and made the All-ACC Freshman Team.
