The second-ranked York College men's lacrosse team completed an undefeated Capital Athletic Conference slate with a 20-6 win over Marymount University on the road Tuesday evening.
Eleven different Spartans scored, including four from Hunter Davis and three from Thomas Pfeiffer and Jake Hvazda. Pfeiffer had three assists, while Davis added one. Dillon Hannah added two goals and two assists.
York improved to 16-1 overall and 8-0 in the CAC. Marymount fell to 3-14 and 1-7.
York will be the No. 1 seed in the upcoming CAC Tournament. The Spartans will host a CAC semifinal Tuesday at Kinsley Field.
Spartans' head coach Brandon Childs won his 99th game as head coach at York.
Baseball team earns win: The York College baseball team earned a 7-5 nonleague victory at Montclair State on Tuesday to improve to 16-14-1.
Montclair fell to 19-15.
Jeff Noss pitched 5 2/3 innings, allowing two earned runs while striking out seven to get the win. Andrew Ross pitched 1 1/3 shutout innings to get the save.
Christian Bilan had two hits, including a double, and drove in six runs to lead York.
De Bruin honored by CAC: York junior Alayna De Bruin was tabbed as the CAC Track Athlete of the Week.
De Bruin set a new school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Greyhound Invitational on Saturday in Bethlehem.
