Another big week for York College freshman Keven Stahl saw him break four records and walk away with a pair of awards.

For his performance during a Capital Athletic Conference victory against St. Mary’s, Stahl was named the conference’s Athlete of the Week for a second straight time. He was also named York College’s Spartan Athlete of the Week.

Stahl won the 1,000 freestyle in a time of 9 minutes, 37.82 seconds to win the event by more than 41 seconds, setting both pool and school records along the way. Stahl also won the 500 freestyle in 4:41.57. That mark also gave Stahl new pool and school records.

Stahl currently owns top times in the CAC in the 1,000 free, 500 free and 100 free. His 1,000 free time is more than 40 seconds better than the nearest competitor.

West York grad Harbold, Brady earn All-CAC honors: York junior volleyball players Eryn Brady and Alexis Harbold were selected to the All-CAC Second Team. They are the first Spartans to earn All-CAC honors since 2014.

Harbold, a West York High School graduate, played in a conference-leading 111 sets for the Spartans. The junior libero also led the conference with 580 digs. Her 5.23 digs-per-set average ranked second in the conference. She also recorded 62 assists, 37 service aces and eight kills.

Brady, an outside hitter, tallied 232 kills in 106 sets, averaging 2.19 kills per set, a mark that ranked 16th in the CAC. She also recorded 53 total blocks, 27 digs and 263 points.

York went 19-10.

Spring Grove grad Flickinger an All-PSAC first-team selection: After leading the Millersville Mauraders’ offensive attack this season, Spring Grove High School graduate Chase Flickinger earned an All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer First-Team nod.

The junior forward led his team in both goals (10) and points (23). Three of those goals were game-winners, tied for the team lead. He also posted three assists.

Millersville finished the season 13-5-1 and advanced to the second round of the PSAC playoffs.

Central York grad Fells earns PSAC special teams honor: Central York High School graduate Marquis Fells was named the PSAC Eastern Division Special Teams Athlete of the Week for his work in East Stroudsburg's 37-27 victory against Lock Haven.

Fells returned the opening kickoff 57 yards, setting up a Jaymar Anderson 43-yard touchdown run on the first-place from scrimmage. The score put East Strousburg ahead 7-0 in the first 20 seconds of the game.

Fells would add a 32-yard return in the second quarter to finish with 89 yards for the game. Fells ranks fourth in the conference in kick-return average at 26.8 yards. His 13.4-yard punt return average is third in the conference.
