Levi Krause's monster junior season got even better on Saturday.

The Spring Grove High School graduate slugged three homers in a single game Saturday for California University of Pennsylvania.

The Vulcans claimed a doubleheader split against Seton Hill in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Division action on Saturday afternoon, falling 5-2 in Game 1 before posting a 9-4 victory in Game 2, thanks mostly to Krause.

The Vulcans stand at 12-14 overall, with a 6-6 mark in league play.

Krause, a third baseman, registered a grand slam and two solo shots for a six-RBI effort in Game 2 on Saturday. He is the first player to achieve the three-homer feat at Cal since Bryan Hartung in 2003. Hartung holds the all-time school record for homers.

Krause leads the team with six homers this season after entering the year with seven homers in nearly 200 career at-bats. He also leads the team in RBIs with 29 and runs with 24. Overall, he's hitting .330 with a .638 slugging percentage and .375 on-base percentage.
