West York High School graduate Brett Kinneman got his 2017 North Carolina State baseball season off to a sizzling start this past weekend in a series at the University of Hawaii.

The outfielder helped the Wolfpack to two wins in three games. For the weekend, Kinneman went 6 for 12 with a home run, four doubles, four runs scored and an RBI.

The four doubles over that span was tied for most in the Atlantic Coast Conference and was third in all of NCAA baseball.

Kinneman earned a berth on Louisville Slugger's Freshman All-America team last season, when he hit .296 in 34 starts, with six homers, 13 doubles and 32 RBIs.
