Sarah Gabriele

Kutztown will enter the 2017 season fresh off of its most successful campaign since the program was reestablished in 2008. The Golden Bears finished with a 7-10 record and notably started the season with five straight wins.

Gabriele will head the offensive attack for the Golden Bears this season. She was last year's team most valuable player, coaches award winner and was named to the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Third Team. Gabriele capped her season with a team-leading 49 goals, which was good for the second-most in a season in program history. She also broke the school record with 67 points and 54 draw controls.

Gabriele was also second on the team in assists with 18.

Cox, a goalkeeper, has started in 18 of her 24 appearances over the last two seasons. She led the team with 77 saves and held a 41.8 save percentage. She also recorded double-digit saves in three of her games, including a 14-save performance in a victory against Bloomsburg last season.

Abby Cox

Romoser will look to anchor the backline for the Golden Bears. She started all 17 games last season, was tied for fourth on the team with 32 groundballs and 13 caused turnovers.

Kutztown will open its season hosting Chestnut Hill on Saturday, Feb. 25.
