The 5-foot, 9-inch senior guard became the 21st player in women's basketball program history to reach the 1,000-point milestone on Saturday.
The former Lady Irish standout hit the mark in an 82-56 home loss to Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference power Shippensburg. That loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Bloomsburg, which fell to 7-14 overall and 6-11 in the PSAC. Shippensburg improved to 18-5 and 13-4.
With just more than three minutes to go in the game, Klunk took a defensive rebound all the way down the floor and drilled a 3-pointer that put her exactly at the 1,000-point mark. She also finished the game as Bloomsburg's top scorer, collecting 17 points. Her line also included four assists, three rebounds and a steal.
After reaching the milestone, family and teammates got to share a moment with the senior from Felton.
