For the second year in a row, Frostburg State volleyball junior Naya Cheatem has been selected as a First Team All-Capital Athletic Conference honoree.
The recognition was announced by the conference Tuesday.
The Central York High School graduate was also a member of the first team last season.
This year, Cheatem paced the Bobcats with a team-high 281 kills, was tied for fourth on the team in total blocks at 31 and was fifth in blocks per set at 0.41.
She also finished third in the CAC in kills per set at 3.70. She posted double-digit numbers in kills in 17 of the 30 matches played by the Bobcats and finished with a season-high 19 kills twice.
Cheatem also reached a career milestone Sept. 13 against Chatham when she eclipsed the 1,000-kills mark. She is one of only eight Bobcats in program history to reach that mark.
Frostburg State finished 12-18 overall, with a 2-7 CAC record.
