Spring Grove High School graduate Hali Flickinger finished third on Thursday night in the 500 freestyle at the NCAA Division I Swimming Championships in Atlanta.

Flickinger, a senior at the University of Georgia, finished in 4 minutes, 33.35 seconds.

After the second night of competition, the Lady Bulldogs lead the meet with 174 points. California sits in second with 144.5 points.

Flickinger also helped Georgia's 400 medley relay team finish fourth in 3:29.54 on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Flickinger helped Georgia to a win in the 800 free relay in 6:51.8. She gave Georgia the early lead in that race with a personal-best time of 1:42.80.
