Friday is another baseball and football night in downtown York.
The defending Atlantic League champion York Revolution will continue its playoff push at PeoplesBank Park at the same time the unbeaten York High Bearcats will welcome the New Oxford Colonials to Small Field. The two athletic facilities are practically side by side.
As a result, Small Field parking lot will be unavailable to Revs' fans.
Revs' officials, however, are assuring baseball fans there will be plenty of parking options for the team’s 5 p.m. doubleheader against the Somerset Patriots.
Through an agreement with the Susquehanna Commerce Center, Revs' fans will again be able to park in the Susquehanna Commerce Center garage for free that afternoon.
In addition, a number of private and public lots within walking distance of PeoplesBank Park will be operational as usual. For information on those, visit downtownyorkpa.com/parking.
The game time for the Bearcats-Colonials game is 7 p.m.
Tuesday game postponed: Tuesday's Revs' game against the Road Warriors was postponed because of damp field conditions caused by recent rains.
The game will be made up on Wednesday, Sept. 12, when the Revs and Road Warriors will play two seven-inning games in a single-admission doubleheader at PeoplesBank Park. Game 1 is set to start at 5 p.m. Gates will open at 4 p.m.
Team officials said they'll continue to track Wednesday’s weather conditions and announce any additional changes as needed.
Tickets for Tuesday’s game may be exchanged for tickets to any remaining regular-season home game in 2018, including Wednesday’s doubleheader, or any possible playoff games (based on availability).
Exchanges must be made in person at the ticket office at PeoplesBank Park. On game days, the ticket office is open from 10 a.m. until the end of the fifth inning. On other days, the hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
