Rainy forecast causes York Revolution officials to postpone games on Tuesday and Wednesday

STAFF REPORT

The York Revolution announced Tuesday afternoon that field conditions and additional rain in the forecast have prompted the team to postpone both Tuesday's 6:30 p.m. game and Wednesday's 11 a.m. game against the Road Warriors.

Tuesday's game will be made up Thursday, when the Revolution and Road Warriors will play two seven-inning games in a single-admission doubleheader at PeoplesBank Park. Game 1 will start at 5:30 p.m. Gates will open at 5 p.m.

Wednesday's game will be made up on a date to be determined.

Tickets for either game may be exchanged for tickets to any remaining regular-season home game in 2018 (based on availability), including Thursday’s doubleheader.

Exchanges must be made in person at the ticket office at PeoplesBank Park. On game days, the ticket office is open from 10 a.m. until the end of the fifth inning. On other days, the hours are 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday.

After the doubleheader on Thursday, York travels to Texas for a pivotal seven-game series against the Skeeters that starts on Friday.

After that, the Revs return to York for a six-game homestand starting Friday, Aug. 3, against Southern Maryland and New Britain.
