The team took leads on three separate occasions, but the third one finally got the job done for the York Revolution on Monday night.

York scored a run in the top of the 11th inning to earn a 6-5 win over the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs at Regency Furniture Stadium to move into first place in the Atlantic League Freedom Division standings.

With the game tied at 5-5 heading into the 11th, Isaias Tejeda put the Revs (6-5) ahead for the third and final time in the game with a double. His hit brought home Alexi Casilla to make it 6-5.

Joe Van Meter then came on in the bottom half of the inning to nail down the win over Southern Maryland (5-5), getting a 1-2-3 inning to close out things.

The two sides traded a three-spot in the fourth inning to open the game's scoring. Luis Cruz put the Revs ahead in the top of the frame with a three-run homer to make it 3-0. However, York starter Steve Janas couldn't hold the lead, allowing all three runs back in the bottom half of the inning to re-tie the contest.

The teams were held off the scoreboard up until the eighth inning, when the Blue Crabs would take the lead for the first time on the night. A single run off of Revs' reliever Curtis Partch would make it 4-3 and put Southern Maryland just three outs away from a win.

Instead, York answered with two runs of its own in the top of the ninth, both coming on a two-run double by Tejeda to not just erase the deficit, but take the lead at 5-4.

Brad Allen entered in the bottom half of the inning to try and close things out, twice getting within a strike of earning the save. But, back-to-back doubles by the Blue Crabs tied the game at 5-5 and forced extra innings, leading to Tejeda's heroics in the 11th.

It was another big night at the plate for the Revs, pounding out 17 hits in the win.

York now leads Southern Maryland and the Lancaster Barnstormers by a half-game in the standings early in the second half of the Atlantic League season.

The Revs and Blue Crabs will play the middle game of their three-game series on Tuesday night. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m. at Regency Furniture Stadium.
