The York Revolution announced a two-year partnership with the Wyndham Garden York Hotel on Tuesday as the official hotel of the team.

As part of the deal, the hotel will provide discounted rooms to the Revs for visiting players and coaches of Atlantic League teams in town to face York. The team will also promote the hotel for any fans visiting York for Revs' games or other non-baseball events at PeoplesBank Park.

The Wyndham Garden will also serve as the official hotel of the York City Ice Arena, which is also managed by the Revolution. As with the baseball team, any visiting players and families staying in York for any games or tournaments at the ice arena will receive discounted rooms.

The hotel is located at 2000 Loucks Road in West Manchester Township and features 117 rooms and several other amenities.

"With seven ALPB teams visiting York for 70 home games on our schedule, we absolutely need an outstanding hotel as a true partner of the Revolution,” said Nate Tile, vice president of business development for the Revolution, in a news release. “The management and staff of the Wyndham Garden fully appreciate that and have demonstrated that our friends in the ALPB, visiting fans and our guests will be in excellent hands. We are excited to be working with one of the area’s best hotel properties.”

In past years, the Revs had a deal with the Yorktowne Hotel in downtown York. However, with the Yorktowne undergoing extensive renovations, the team had to find another hotel partner, at least for the next two seasons.
