Conrads is one win away from capturing the Susquehanna League Baseball Playoff Championship Series.

Conrads took a 2-0 lead in the best-of-5 title series against Jacobus on Tuesday evening with a 16-2 pounding of the Jackals in New Bridgeville.

Conrads had won Game 1 of the series on Sunday, 7-5.

The winners pounded out 13 hits on Tuesday and broke the game open with an eight-run third inning. 

Conrads was paced by Rick Thompson (three hits, homer, three RBIs, two runs), Travis Hake (homer, four RBIs, two runs), Ben Bills (two hits, double, three RBIs, run), Spencer Butz (double, three RBIs, two runs), Tracy Carr (double, two walks, three runs), Brandon Miller (two walks, hit, RBI, three runs) and Kevin Keesey (two walks, hit, two runs).

Randy Stewart went the distance to get the win.

Jacobus was led by Kyle Saxman (two hits) and Brett Alaimo (double, RBI, run).

Game 3 is set for Thursday evening in Jacobus.
