Stoverstown used a six-run fifth inning to break open a 1-1 game en route to a 7-3 Central League triumph over Mount Wolf on Thursday evening.

Chris Mattison led the Stoverstown offense by belting two doubles to go with three RBIs and two runs scored.

Also for the Tigers, Austin Botts homered and picked up two RBIs, Jake Hockensmith went 2 for 4 with one RBI and starting pitcher Daryl Harang threw five innings, striking out three, walking one and allowing just two singles to record the win.

For Mount Wolf, Jesse Sargen went 2 for 4 with one RBI, while starting pitcher Andrew Sebroski threw five innings, striking out four, walking three and allowing one earned run.

Central League regular-season champion Stoverstown improved to 24-4-1 with 73 points, while Mount Wolf fell to 13-14-0 with 39 points.
