BASEBALL: Pleasureville tops Northeastern, stays unbeaten in York-Adams Legion action
Michael Nizinski's big night on Monday helped Pleasureville (3-0) remain unbeaten in York-Adams American Legion baseball action.

Nizinski belted three hits, including a pair of doubles, while driving in two runs and scoring two runs, in a 5-3 triumph over Northeastern in Manchester.
Cannon Maye and Connor Richeson combined on a five-hitter for Pleasureville. Maye went three innings and allowed two earned runs, while Richeson went four innings and didn't allow an earned run.
Robbie Elzinga had three hits for Northeastern with an RBI and a run scored.
Eli Gross pitched well in relief for Northeastern, allowing one earned run over 4 2/3 innings.
Northeastern jumped out to a 2-0 first-inning lead, but Pleasureville scored five unanswered runs over the second through fourth innings to take control.

LEGION GAME
Glen Rock 11, Red Lion 5: At Red Lion, Cole Weigard led the visitors to the victory by going 2 for 4 at the plate, including a triple and a double, with two runs scored and two RBIs.
Also for Glen Rock, Jake Mahan had a triple and a double, with two runs scored and one RBI; Noah Miller went 2 for 5 with three RBIs and one run scored; Austin Ruth went 2 for 4 with a double; Peyton Reider went 2 for 4 with two runs scored and one RBI; Conor Custer 2 for 4 with one run scored and one RBI; and Sam Garbner and C.J. Munch each tripled.
For Red Lion, Adam Naylor doubled with two RBIs and one run scored, while Sean Glatfelter had three RBIs.

LEAGUE GAME
Hallam 2, Conrads 1: At Hallam, Matt Ruth pitched a complete-game three-hitter to get the win, striking out 10 and walking one.
Hallam, which improved to 9-3, scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh on a walk-off error.
Alex Tucci had two hits for the winners, including a double, with a run scored, while Justin Berkstresser added two RBIs.
Conrads' Brandon Walters pitched well in a complete-game defeat, allowing one earned run over 6 1/3 innings, with seven strikeouts and zero walks.
