First-place East Prospect rolls past Windsor to improve to 9-0 in Susquehanna action


East Prospect continued its dominating start to the 2018 Susquehanna League baseball season on Sunday afternoon.

The Pistons rolled past Windsor 12-0 in a game shortened to five innings because of rain. The game was part of a scheduled doubleheader, but the second game was rained out.

First-place East Prospect is 9-0 on the season and has outscored the opposition, 59-14, including four shutouts.

Sunday, Terry Godfrey pitched a complete game, allowing one hit and one walk with five strikeouts.

Ryky Smith led East Prospect at the plate, going 4 for 4, including a double, with four RBIs and three runs scored. 

Nathan Loser (three hits, three runs), Bren Taylor (two hits, double, two RBIs, two runs), Dalton Renn (two hits, RBI, run), Mark Schauren (two RBIs) and Thomas Taylor (two RBIs) also excelled for East Prospect.

Shawn Wilson had the only hit for Windsor (0-7).
