ADULT BASEBALL: Stoverstown scores 8 runs in 6th on one hit en route to win vs. Glen Rock
Stoverstown scored eight runs in the sixth inning on just one hit en route to a 9-2 Central League baseball victory over visiting Glen Rock on Thursday.
In the sixth, Glen Rock pitchers issued eight walks and hit one batter. There was also an error behind them. Nick Todero's two-run single was Stoverstown's only hit in the sixth.
Brandon Warner and had two hits, including a double, and two runs scored for the winners. Stoverstown's Zach Schuler also doubled.
Justin Anderson had two doubles and an RBI for Glen Rock. Steve Ahlbrandt also doubled for the Rock.
Kyle Raubenstine got the win on the mound, going six innings with six strikeouts, allowing two runs.
Mount Wolf 3, Manchester 0: At Manchester, Robbie Smith and Mark Burnside combined to throw a shutout. For Manchester, Wyatt Beichler started the game on the mound, throwing four innings, while striking out 10 and walking one, while teammate Logan Allison doubled.
Jefferson 3, Dover 2: At Jefferson, Jordan Higgins led the home team to the victory by going 3 for 4, including a double, with one RBI. Also for Jefferson, Ethan Lear went 2 for 3, Gabriel Grove doubled and Brian Bossom threw a complete game. For Dover, Colby Shimmel went 2 for 3.

East Prospect 3, Hallam 2: At East Prospect, Seth Lefever led the home team to the victory by throwing a complete game, striking out eight and walking none. Teammate Mark Schauren went 1 for 3 with two RBIs. For the Express, Joe Pietrobone had a double, while Alex Tucci threw a complete game, striking out four, walking two and allowing no earned runs.
