The Dover Area Athletic Association Baseball Program has received a charter from Little League® International for participation in the 2018 Little League® season.

They join 16 existing leagues in District 14 Little League® in southcentral Pennsylvania with a shot at competing in Williamsport for the Little League® World Series title.

"Dover Area Little League is extremely excited to announce we are now part of the Little League® family,” Dover Little League president Terry Choate said in a news release. “We believe the organizational structure and support offered through affiliation with such a well-known organization as Little League® will serve our organization, families and players extremely well in fulfilling our mission to develop not only better ball players, but more importantly, better people.”

“Dover Area Athletic Association's new leadership had demonstrated a strong commitment to strengthening baseball in the Dover area and have fully embraced the core values of Little League® as a key element to their future success” Kline said in the news release. “I am extremely thrilled and proud to be able to bring the Little League® experience to the youth of the Dover School District”
